And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.

So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
But I say, do not make any vows! Do not say, ‘By heaven!’ because heaven is God’s throne. And do not say, ‘By the earth!’ because the earth is his footstool. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth.But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
