| And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. | And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. |
| He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. | Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. |

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. | Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. | But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. | And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. |
