Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. | So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. |

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. | My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. |
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. | Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. |
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. | Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. |

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. | And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. |
For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. | For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. |
