Bible Verses about 'Ears'

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.
Out of the depths I have cried to You, Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the sound of my pleadings. From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry for help before Him came into His ears. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.
For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against evildoers. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.
For this reason You are great, Lord God; for there is no one like You, and there is no God except You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!
And it happened that He was passing through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples began to make their way along while picking the heads of grain. The Pharisees were saying to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” And He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions became hungry; how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the consecrated bread, which is not lawful for anyone to eat except the priests, and he also gave it to those who were with him?” Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath.”One Sabbath day as Jesus was walking through some grainfields, his disciples began breaking off heads of grain to eat. But the Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?” Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Scriptures what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He went into the house of God (during the days when Abiathar was high priest) and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. He also gave some to his companions.” Then Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made to meet the needs of people, and not people to meet the requirements of the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!”

But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.
I sought the Lord and He answered me, And rescued me from all my fears.I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke. The rich can pay a ransom for their lives, but the poor won’t even get threatened.

This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!
