| Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.” | Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? | But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |

| So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent. | And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. |

| On the day of prosperity be happy, But on the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him. | In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. |
