- Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart. - But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
- He sends his word, and heals them,
and delivers them from their graves. - You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.
- When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.
- For there is not a word on my tongue,
but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you. - By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made:
all their army by the breath of his mouth. - In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
- Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff,
they comfort me. - If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them, then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- Therefore be merciful,
even as your Father is also merciful. - But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears open to their prayer;
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
- Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you. - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
- Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
