But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:11	For what human being knows what is truly human except the human spirit that is within? Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11	Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing. encouragement learning neighbor
So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment. temptation judgment punishment
And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. Isaiah 35:8	A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God's people; no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray. holiness
