- Even to your old age I am he,
even when you turn gray I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - When one will not listen to the law,
even one's prayers are an abomination. - If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - Even fools who keep silent are considered wise;
when they close their lips, they are deemed intelligent. - You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder.

- Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God. - We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
- Those who withhold kindness from a friend
forsake the fear of the Almighty. - But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
- Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
- Indeed, the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul from spirit, joints from marrow; it is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
- For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
- Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
- So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
- Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.
- So that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- If any of you sin without knowing it, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, you have incurred guilt, and are subject to punishment.
