Bible Verses about 'Even'

  • Even when you reach old age
    I will still be the same.
    Even when your hair is gray,
    I will still carry you.
    I have made you and I will uphold you;
    I will carry you and save you.
  • When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law,
    even his prayer is detestable.
  • And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.
  • You believe that there is one God. You do well to assert that. But even the demons believe and tremble.
  • Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
    if he closes his lips, he is regarded as intelligent.
  • Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
    every eye will see him,
    even those who pierced him.
    All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
    So shall it be. Amen.
  • A word is not even on my tongue
    and you, O Lord, are completely aware of it.
  • Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.

  • Yet even now, says the Lord,
    return to me with all your heart,
    with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
  • Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them.
    For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret.
  • Indeed, fornication and impurity of any kind, as well as greed, should not even be mentioned among you. Such talk is not fitting for saints.
  • Even if an army encamps against me,
    my heart will not succumb to fear;
    even if war breaks out against me,
    I will not have my trust shaken.

    through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil,
    for you are at my side,
    with your rod and your staff
    that comfort me.

    for we have placed our hope in you.

    and he will not deviate from it, even in old age.

  • However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
  • By faith Abraham also received the power of procreation, even though he was well past the age—and Sarah herself was barren—because he believed that the one who had made the promise would be faithful in fulfilling it.
  • For ‘In him we live and move and have our being.’ As even your own poets have said, ‘We are all his offspring.’
  • For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
  • But God is rich in his mercy, and because he had such great love for us, he brought us to life with Christ when we were already dead through sin—it is by grace that you have been saved.
  • One who despairs should have the support of his friends
    even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.
  • Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
  • Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

If he refuses to listen to them, report it to the Church. And if he refuses to listen to the Church, treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector.
