This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
