- Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- “No weapon that is formed against you will prevail;
and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment.
This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants,
and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh. - There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death. - For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
- Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
- The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom.
Before honor is humility. - Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.
- Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.”
- Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.
- What is man, that you think of him?
What is the son of man, that you care for him? - Bring us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. - There is no one as holy as Yahweh,
for there is no one besides you,
nor is there any rock like our God. - But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- There are many plans in a man’s heart,
but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail. - Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
- But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision amounts to anything, but faith working through love.
- Keep your heart with all diligence,
for out of it is the wellspring of life. - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
