I thank you and praise you, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we desired of you; for you have made known to us the king’s matter.I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.
Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
I have chosen the way of truth. I have set your ordinances before me.I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Then Jesus said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.”Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land? While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
“Yet even now,” says Yahweh, “turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.”Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls. All your waves and your billows have swept over me.Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture.I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
