Bible Verses about 'Fool'

Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.Lying lips conceal hatred, and whoever utters slander is a fool.
Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler.Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a ruler.

Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.Words spoken by the wise bring them favor, but the lips of fools consume them.
The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the mind of the wicked is of little worth.
People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but one who has a hasty temper exalts folly.
A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother.A wise child makes a glad father, but a foolish child is a mother's grief.
And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God's people; no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray.
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves.

Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.

All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
