Bible Verses about 'Fool'

Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool. One who conceals hatred has lying lips, And one who spreads slander is a fool.
Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler.Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, Much less are lying lips to a prince.

Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.
Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.Words from the mouth of a wise person are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him.
The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver, The heart of the wicked is worth little.

A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother.A wise son makes a father glad, But a foolish son is a grief to his mother.
And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.A highway will be there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for the one who walks that way, And fools will not wander on it.
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves.

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”And He was saying, “That which comes out of the person, that is what defiles the person. For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery, deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the person.”
