Bible Verses about 'Fool'

Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler.Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.

Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions.A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.
Fools’ words get them into constant quarrels; they are asking for a beating.A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.
Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words. The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.
People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness. He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
A wise child brings joy to a father; a foolish child brings grief to a mother.A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
And a great road will go through that once deserted land. It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
