- Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.

- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills. - Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
- But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
- The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth. - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
- Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass. - Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
