God as friend (2/4)

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us.As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as He did upon us at the beginning. And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow, And every tongue will give praise to God.”For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Consequently, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His.There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?
Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience.Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Seek good and not evil, so that you may live; And so may the Lord God of armies be with you, Just as you have said!Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things. As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
“Come now, and let us debate your case,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are as scarlet, They shall become as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool.”Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
