- Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
- The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and just is He. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
- How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered! - These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
