But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.But Jesus has now received a ministry that is far superior, for he is the mediator of a far better covenant that has been established on better promises.
God is not a human being, that he should lie, or a mortal, that he should change his mind. Has he promised, and will he not do it? Has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?God is not human, that he should lie, or the son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act, does he promise and then not fulfill it?

No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.
