He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1	See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
