- A fool has no delight in understanding,
but only in revealing his own opinion. - He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.

- He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh,
the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. - As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
- We are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.
- A man of many companions may be ruined,
but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
