- “If you will not hear,
And if you will not take it to heart,
To give glory to My name,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,
And I will curse your blessings.
Yes, I have cursed them already,
Because you do not take it to heart.” - Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me. - How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house.
- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
- Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” - Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
- And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
