The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.
Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.Teach me your ways, O Lord, so that I may walk in your truth; let me worship your name with an undivided heart.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord.
So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.Teach us to comprehend how few our days are so that our hearts may be filled with wisdom.
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the heart of the wicked is of little worth.The tongue of the just man is like pure silver; the heart of the wicked is without worth.
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart.
Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you.Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.
Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you.Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.My son, do not forget my teaching, but cherish my commandments in your heart, for they will bring you length of days, more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity.
