Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!Place your hope in the Lord: be strong and courageous in your heart, and place your hope in the Lord.
Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord.
So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.Teach us to comprehend how few our days are so that our hearts may be filled with wisdom.
The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little.The tongue of the just man is like pure silver; the heart of the wicked is without worth.
The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.For one believes in the heart and so is justified, and one confesses with the mouth and so is saved.
The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.The heart is more deceitful than any other thing, and it is also perverse. Who can uncover its secrets? I, the Lord, search the heart and probe the mind to reward all according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.
Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.A man is haughty until disaster overtakes him, but humility comes before honors.
Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.Let the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart find favor in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes.
Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.Even if an army encamps against me, my heart will not succumb to fear; even if war breaks out against me, I will not have my trust shaken.
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts.A man’s ways may seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart.
‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.
Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart.My son, concentrate attentively on my words; pay heed to the instructions I pass on to you. Do not let them slip from your mind; keep them forever in your heart.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity.
You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son.
My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.My son, do not forget my teaching, but cherish my commandments in your heart, for they will bring you length of days, more years of life, and an abundance of prosperity.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.
