Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. | You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. |
Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. | Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. |

You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. | The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. |
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. | Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. |

Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. | My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. |
But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. | But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. |
Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him. | God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. |
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? | He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? |
This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. | This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. |
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. |
In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him. | And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. |
He is the one all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiven through his name. | To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. |
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” | For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” |
I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” | “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” |
For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth. | God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. |
Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. | Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. |
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” | And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” |
Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. | Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! |
But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. | Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. |
