“Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.”I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.
Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”
Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent,’ you must forgive them.
You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.
