He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright.He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
But from everlasting to everlasting the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children, with those who keep his covenant and diligently observe his commandments.But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son gives grief to his mother.A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.
I wait for the Lord in anxious expectation; I place my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
Finally, find your strength in the Lord and in his mighty power.Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet?Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?

When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction, even their prayers are detestable.
With his mouth the godless man seeks to ruin his neighbor, but knowledge enables the righteous to be delivered.With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.
A fool gives free rein to his anger, but a wise man bides his time and calms it.Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.
Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart.
Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
