- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. - Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
- The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate. - And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” - This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. - And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him. - You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
- As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments.
His praise endures forever. - And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
- But I will sacrifice to You
With the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay what I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
- And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
