Chinese (traditional)- Every day, united in spirit, they would assemble together in the temple. They would break bread in their homes and share their food with joyful and generous hearts as they praised God, and they were regarded with favor by all the people. And day by day the Lord added to those who were being saved.
- No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a pot or places it under a bed. Rather he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.
- They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
- And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- As a result, you are no longer strangers and foreigners. Rather, you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
A fool spurns his father’s correction,
but whoever heeds admonition is prudent. Call to me and I will answer you and reveal to you great and mysterious secrets about which you are unaware.Next verse! With image
