But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
I made a covenant with my eyes; how then should I look lustfully at a young woman?I have made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I gaze at a virgin?
