| If you know me, then you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him. You have seen him. | If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. |

| If I have the gift of prophecy and the ability to understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have all the faith necessary to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. | If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. |
| And thus we can have confidence in him that if we ask anything that is in accordance with his will, he hears us. | This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. |
| Jesus answered them, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to this fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be accomplished.” | And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.” |

| And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet. | For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up! |
