What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? |
If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. | And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good. |
But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. | But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses. |
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” | Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” |

For if you truly amend your ways and your doings, if you truly act justly one with another, if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own hurt, then I will dwell with you in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your ancestors forever and ever. | For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever. |
