| Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. | But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not just hearers who deceive themselves. |

| Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. | Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. |
