Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road. | And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. |
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus. | Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. |

When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.” | But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. |
But from you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, among the tiniest of the clans of Judah, from you will come forth for me one who is to be a ruler in Israel, one whose origins are from the distant past, from ancient times. | But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. |
Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” | Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. |
But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. |
While he was departing as they gazed upward toward the sky, suddenly two men dressed in white robes stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking up into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.” | And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. |
Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” | Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? |
Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ. | Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. |
They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.” | And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. |
Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me. | Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. |
Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. | Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. |
Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love. | For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. |
A wise man will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to grief. | The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall. |
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.” | But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. |
Go and learn what this text means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I have come to call not the righteous but sinners. | But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. |
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified. | For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. |
Then it will come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. | And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.” | Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. |
And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. | But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. |
For all have sinned and thereby are deprived of the glory of God, and all are justified by the gift of his grace that is given freely through the redemption in Christ Jesus. | For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. |
