When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf. | But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. |
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. | Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. |

And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. | Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. |
I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father. | I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. |
I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world! | These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. |
And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. | And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. |
I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but I ask you to protect them from the evil one. | I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. |
Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. | Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. |

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |

No one has ever seen God. It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known. | No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. |
I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ | And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. |
Jesus answered him, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” | Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. |
Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.” | Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. |
What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. | That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. |
