John 16:33 (3/4)

I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet.
Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.
Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.
If you love me, keep my commands.If you love me, obey my commandments.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.”
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
