He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.And let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water.’
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”
Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.”
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.Jesus answered them, “Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.”
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father's hand. The Father and I are one.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor.
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.
If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
