John 7:38 (2/4)

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye love me, keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.

I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
