John 7:38 (2/4)

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, it will be enough for us.”
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.Amen, amen, I say to you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do, and indeed will do even greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.Whatever you ask in my name I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you love me, keep my commands. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.Anyone who has received my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.
Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”Jesus answered him, “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him.”
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I have said to you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled; be not afraid.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower. He removes every branch that does not bear fruit, and every branch that does he prunes to make it bear even more.
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.You have already been cleansed by the word I have spoken to you.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing.
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you may ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. This is my commandment: love one another as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.You did not choose me. Rather, I chose you. And I appointed you to go out and bear fruit, fruit that will remain, so that the Father may give you whatever you ask him in my name.
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.
When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, he will testify on my behalf.
But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth: it is better for you that I depart. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, whereas if I go, I will send him to you.
When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.Until now, in my name, you have not asked for anything. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.I came from the Father and have come into the world. Now I am leaving the world and returning to the Father.
