| And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. | I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever. |
| You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. | And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. |

| And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. | And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment. |
| I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. | I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from the evil one. |
| But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.” | Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.” |
| Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” | Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” |
| If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! | If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him. |
| And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. | This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. |
