The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith. Habakkuk 2:4	Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. righteousness life reliability
Beloved, we are God’s children now. What we shall be has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. Everyone who has this hope in him keeps himself pure, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:2-3	Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. purification family heaven

In it the righteousness of God is revealed, beginning in faith and established in faith. As it is written: “The one who is righteous will live through faith.” Romans 1:17	This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” faith righteousness salvation
However, if the wicked renounce all of the sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is right and just, they shall surely live; they shall not die. Ezekiel 18:21	But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. conversion sin law
Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous. In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28	For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Jesus serving sacrifice
My son, do not ignore the Lord’s discipline or refuse to accept his rebuke. For the Lord disciplines those whom he loves, just as a father chastises a beloved son. Proverbs 3:11-12	My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. love Father learning
Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son. Deuteronomy 8:5	Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Father learning punishment
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10	In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents. joy angels repentance
Rather, be kind to one another and compassionate, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you in Christ. Ephesians 4:32	Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. forgiveness compassion goodness
May the Lord, our God, be with us, just as he was with our fathers; may he not leave us or abandon us. 1 Kings 8:57	May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us. nearness reliability family
Just as you do not know the path of the wind or how the body is formed in a woman’s womb, so you do not know the work of God, the Creator of all. Ecclesiastes 11:5	Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you. Psalm 33:22	Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. trust reliability hope
Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. Only do not eat flesh along with its life, that is, with its blood. Genesis 9:3-4	I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables. The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12	The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. body community church
For to you a thousand years are like a yesterday that has passed or one of the watches of the night. Psalm 90:4	For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. God life understanding
Beloved, I pray that everything is going well with you and that your bodily health is equal to that of your soul. 3 John 1:2	Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. blessing prayer soul
Bear with one another, and forgive one another if anyone has reason to be offended with another. You must forgive just as the Lord has forgiven you. Colossians 3:13	Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. forgiveness peace neighbor
For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off. Psalm 37:28	For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. eternal life reliability righteousness
For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another. Romans 12:4-5	Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. He who called you is holy. Therefore, be holy yourselves in all your conduct. For Scripture says, “Be holy, for I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:15-16	But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. The righteous is remembered with blessings, but the name of the wicked fades away. Proverbs 10:7	We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away. sin righteousness blessing
Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior. Ephesians 5:22-23	For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. marriage Jesus salvation
Seek good and not evil, so that you may live. Then the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you as you claim he is. Amos 5:14	Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. holiness reward seeking
