Bible Verses about 'Just'
- He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair.

than when we offer him sacrifices. - But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
- Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.
- For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.
- Do what is good and run from evil
so that you may live!
Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper,
just as you have claimed. - The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.
- For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
- But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

- And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
- But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die.
- For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.
- I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.
- But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.
For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” - The words of the godly are like sterling silver;
the heart of a fool is worthless. - In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.
- He guards the paths of the just
and protects those who are faithful to him. - Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good.
- This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
- Look at the proud!
They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked.
But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. - Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord,
for our hope is in you alone. - Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,
and you will find the right way to go. - For you, a thousand years are as a passing day,
as brief as a few night hours. - When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
- Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
- Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.”
- Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.
- The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.
- My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. - I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables. But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it.
- Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.
- Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.
- Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
