- If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Next verse! With image
