Bible Verses about 'Just'
- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:

but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
- Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
- Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
- For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
- As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
- Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
- But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
- But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
- As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
- As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.
- For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
- My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
