- He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - The tongue of the just is as choice silver:
the heart of the wicked is little worth. - For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
- Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour:
but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. - And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
- Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
- And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.Next verse! With image
