Bible Verses about 'Just'
- Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
- He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. - Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?

- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.
- I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
- Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
- Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.
- Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
- Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
- Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
- But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
- And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
- For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
- My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
Nor detest His correction;
For whom the Lord loves He corrects,
Just as a father the son in whom he delights. - For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
- As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
- The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
- To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it is past,
And like a watch in the night. - Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey. - But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”
- But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
- But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
- The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - As in water face reflects face,
So a man’s heart reveals the man. - But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
- But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
- For the Lord your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.
- As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. - You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
- Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
