Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes. | Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases. |
For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior. |
For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. | For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. |

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. | Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it. |
