- What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah - In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the child who has been born king of the Jews? For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage.”
- To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.
- A friend loves at all times,
and kinsfolk are born to share adversity. - Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.
- For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our ruler,

- For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- And the Lord will become king over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be one and his name one.
- Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion!
Shout aloud, O daughter Jerusalem!
Lo, your king comes to you;
triumphant and victorious is he,
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven,
for all his works are truth,
and his ways are justice;
and he is able to bring low
those who walk in pride. - But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
- The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God.”
- Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids will also fast as you do. After that I will go to the king, though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.

Who, though he was in the form of God,
did not regard equality with God
as something to be exploited,
but emptied himself,
taking the form of a slave,
being born in human likeness.
And being found in human form,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to the point of death—
even death on a cross.Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.
