- With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
- Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge:
but he that hateth reproof is brutish. - So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - For there is not a word in my tongue,
but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. - We love him, because he first loved us.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.
- Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
- And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah.If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.Next verse!With image
