For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.”For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.

But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
