| But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. | But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. |
| But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. | However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life. |

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
