| Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. | You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold. |
| A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. | A gift opens doors; it gives access to the great. |

| And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. | And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” |

| Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. | Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all.
